On a good day they could be considered a Kakkonen side, and with some missings from the Veikkausliiga side TPS this might become a slightly more tricky for TPS than the odds suggest.

Pöxyt get a handicap of 2.75 goals which is probably not enough for a win, but big enought to think twice before betting TPS - 2.75 at 1.90.

Cup 9.7.2009 KooTeePee- FC Honka

Handicap is + 1.50 for KooTeePee which seems about right. They have been defensively a good team and they have one of the best goal keepers in the country, Oskari Forsman.

I am not betting KooTeePee to win with this hc for sure, but I remember seeing Honka at Kotka last season drawing 0-0 against only a slightly better KooTeePee, and have to check the line-ups for this one before deciding anything.

The pitch at Kotka is wet & heavy, which should help especially against a team like Honka who like to keep the ball on the ground.

So far, no bet. Studying the round still.

Unfortunataly no chances can be given to Spartak as it is a lower division team up north where the level of divisions is the worst. Last round Haka beat a similar or perhaps even better opponent Tigers, though at home, 7-0.

Question is, what the handicap should be, a win is always enough.


Sbobet gives Spartak a 2.5 goal handicap which is not that much. Neither is price for Haka - 2.5, a mere 1.56. Have to think about this more closely, but at first glance it looks like a sure winner.

Well, that did not last too long. HC now -2.75 @ 1.79

Unless something comes up, I think I give this game a miss.

The form of Fc Espoo is misleading; they are an ok side for Kakkonen level, but could not make it at Ykkönen and there is a quality gap of 5 goals in - between them.

There is no home advantage really, the stadiums are 7 km apart, there is no home support and this is a nice break for HJK to field some of the players who have played less lately.

Espoo have an important Kakkonen game on Friday, and whenever HJK scores the first goal the game is over.

Futura has been a pleasant surprise, but their defense is from a horror film and they will be thrashed by VPS set pieces and corners. KTP - KäPa preview, the only game tonight in Finland

There is so little action tonight that this could become a game of big interest bettingwise, and actually KäPa odds just rose to 1.93. More changes up and down to be expected.

First impression is a low-scoring match, as there are no scorers left in the whole City of Kotka since they sold Teemu Pukki to Sevilla FC two seasons ago. After seeing KTP managing to score only twice against Kultsu some weeks ago nothing can force to support them bettingwise against a much better opponent.

KTP has two player on loan (Kurittu & Rautiainen) from Veikkausliiga side MyPa, but they are only 1st & 2nd division quality and should make no big difference.


KäPa signed an excellent defender Adel Eid from Atlantis, and he strengthens the side significantly.


Distance from Käpylä (Helsinki) to Kotka 135 km & 1.5 hours by bus.

Edit: FT 3-3. Any dreams of a low-scoring game could be flushed down the toilet after the first KäPa attack of producing a wonderful game. It was 0-2 after 15 minutes, and KäPa missed a penalty at 31 min.

A very eventful match and worth of penny for the supporters, bettingwise not an ideal start for a under-bet.
