Free Finnish Football Newsletter

There are still almost two months to go before the competitive seasons start properly. Yes, the League Cup is going on as well is the Finnish Cup, but there are only a handful of matches and even most of them are of a testing and pre-season nature. Excellent analysing opportunities they are and since the season 2010 finished I have seen more than 50 matches live at the stadium to build up the knowledge.

The Newsletter last season was a success but also a good learning opportunity of what to do and what not to do, and the timing is essential on a market like this. Finding the balance between enough correct info and  the market prices and movements is a challenge, and the seemingly good-looking - and quickly dropping - early odds were often a trap which has to be avoided.

Lessons have been learned, networks are broadened and the Newsletter this season is an improved one. There will be a Free Newsletter throughout the season with background info and randomly - about twice weekly - published previews and reviews, and two paid options for the more betting-oriented audience.

Finland this week

Hi.
A quick review and preview, more tomorrow. Last weekend results and this week schedule.



JJK – Jaro 1-1.
Eremenko Jr. came back and conquered, with this draw JJK secured their place in the quarter-finals, Jaro have still chances, on paper that is. TamU are two points behind with matches to go, Jaro have no more matches.



VPS – AC Oulu 1-0. As expected, no goal fest. Both teams are through to play-offs and will face big trouble against the teams from the other group. Even match.



Inter Turku – IFK Mariehamn 2-1. Timo Furuholm showed his importance for Inter again by scoring the first goal. IFK test player equalized and Ari Nyman hit the late winner. IFK deserved this time more, and they are now out, Inter are through. IFK reported having seen enough of the Russian test player but they are undecided with the Frenchman.



KuPS – TamU postponed due heavy snowfall. KuPS odds dropped big time before the kick-off and went down to ridiculously low levels, if that happens again there is big value on TamU this weekend.

Finland League Cup 20th March newsletter published

There is still plenty of time to get your free copy for today, the first matches will kick-off at 13.00 CET. At least two of the matches seem to be totally wrong at the asian market as we speak, KuPS - Tampere United and VPS - AC Oulu, but there are ongoing market movements.

Haka        - VPS           CET 12.30   
 

Haka came home  from Kuopio 
last weekend with the luckiest win this season 
so far when  3 goals by KuPS got disallowed 
and also the last Dickson 
shot of the game only hit the post, 
FT 0-1 and my 
KuPS - 0,25 bets went down the drain.

Today there are still questionmarks about 
the Haka line-up, the stomach disease 
they suffered at Kuopio is not completely 
over yet and making even remotely 
accurate estimations is impossible. 
Haka have no motivation or possibility 
to qualify to play-off stages however 
wheres VPS face the match 
with an urge to get some points 
back home. Final asian handicap price limits 
and estimations 
will be sent to mailing-list customers after 
getting confirmation of the 
actual line-ups.
The current line Haka - 0,25 @ 2.08 is 
not tempting me the slightest with 
the information available so far. 

Interestingly local bookie Veikkaus
gives the biggest market price for 
VPS 2 @ 3.50 and it is slightly disturbing.

Sweden and Norway start this weekend!

Extremely good news to get more of these less known leagues on the way, the big leagues are way more difficult to make money.

Kalmar host IFK Göteborg and while Kalmar - 0,25 @ 2.25 just might be a tad of value yet it has to be remebered that this is the opening round, it will be started earlier than usual because of the break during the World Cup and the pitches are in awful condition in the whole of Scandinavia.

As you all know Göteborg are no mugs either. No bet yet, but if there is it will be backing Kalmar.

Tippeligan also start with just one match, Brann host newly promoted Haugesund. I see this as a perfect opportunity to inform you about Nordic Football Info´s Tippeligan previews!

A disappointing match by Finnish test players and to cut the story short I will give credit only to first half Finnish goalkeeper Jere Pyhäranta (FC Honka) for saving a good shot. Well, Lorents Hertsi did well, but he is very small being a defender when the going gets tough.

Drove way too long to see crap like this.

From the Estonian side the most positive was the left back from Levadia, Anier started from the bench and Richard Leht had a bad day. I would sign Hannes Anier any day to my team, if I had a team that is.

Oh yes, the goal. Scored by Heljander at 15th minute from a Juho Lehtonen cross from the left side. Heljander hit the goalie first for a couple of times, but came out stronger.
