Agree with Dawba Bah, and some of others are acceptable. Paatelainen? It is not even funny. Just sad.

KuPS:0-0-0-0-0-0

H2H : 4-2-6 11.08.2008 League KuPS – RoPS 0-1
KuPS strengthened their squad with two new players from Nigeria. Dickson Nwakaeme (23) is a striker and Segun Ikudehinbu (20) is a midfielder, they both gave good performances in a test game against St. Petersburg Zenit reserve team on Thursday. Both should be available against RoPS. Another test player Laszlo Almasi is still being tested, while Balazs Horvath did not pass his testing period.
”Dickson is an excellent striker and Ikudehinbu a hard-working midfielder, exactly what we have needed, we are getting a good line-up for Saturday´s game, and this a good opportunity to start our run of five consecutive home games,” says KuPS head coach Esa Pekonen.
KuPS is finally returning to their own home ground after playing their home games so far this season at their old Väinölänniemi stadium where the conditions are poor and aged. At Magnum Arena, where they will play from now on, a new artificial pitch has been installed which slightly adds up to their home advantage. ”We have not played on artificial pitch for a long time”, admits RoPS coach Mika Lumijärvi, ” but fortunately we got a win against JJK and can breath more freely now. For KuPS this is a must win, we are more relaxed.”
KuPS have some injury worries in the form of captain Jani Hartikainen 10/0 being out for the rest of the season due to knee injuru which will be operated. Defender Ilo 12/0 is suspended, Savolainen 10/0 and Tuomas Kuparinen 10/0 are doubtful. Goal-keeper Joonas Pöntinen 2/0 will be with Warkaus JK in the Kakkonen game.
RoPS goal-keeper Kwon 12/0 is suspended, otherwise RoPS are with the full squad.

A sad trip awaits JJK?
H2H 1-0-0 11.3. League Cup JJK – TamU 2-3
TamU: 3-0-0-3-0-3

Tampere United is finally back on track. The 3-2 home win after being two goals down against Inter was a boost to the team moral and for once they were the lucky one by scoring a late minute winner. The spirits are high at the Tampere camp now that also Chris James 2/1 has returned to the squad and also first choice goal-keeper Mikko Kavén 2/0 is likely to join the team.
Important midfielder Juska Savolainen 12/1 will join the injury list, but the head coach of Tampere United Ari Hjelm is not afraid to trust in the younger players, ” there are already more players out injured than on the training pitch, but that gives are younger players like Jusu Karvonen valuable experience of the tough Veikkausliiga games. I am not least worried.”
JJK is actively testing new players in July. ”We are looking for players to all positions on the pitch except the goalkeeper position. We wanted to give a chance for our own players who earned the promotion to show if they can make it in the top division, but now it is time to acknowledge that we need some 4-6 new players to strengthen the squad if we want to stay in the League,” admits managing director Joni Vesalainen. One of the players tested is macedonian striker Gjorgji Hristov, with 48 international caps with the national team.
The JJK performance in Lapland left a lot to wish for, and they were completely outplayed by the RoPS side though the decisive goal was a late winner in a dramatic game with two red cards and two late goals.
”I told the players that the best way to get the disappointment out of your system is the charge yourself fully to the next game and grab some points, that is what are we going to do at Tampere, ” says coach Ville Priha of the Jyväskylä side.
JJK center-back Markus Paija 5/0 is suspended, Niko Markkula 5/0 is out because of flu.

Crazy odds for SalPa at home against surprise package FC Espoo. Before the season it was expected that Salo is the better of these two.
Salo + 0.5 @ 2.05 SBOBET
I personally ate up some value in the game of
Kultsu - MP, but away team is still worth a bet.
MP - 1.50 @ 1.88 & over 1.25 goals on the 1st half @ 1.86 SBOBET.
Still wondering shoud I drive to Lahti tonight for the Eurocup game against Tirana, but I guess I rather go and play futsal myself. Healthier option!

VPS - HJK preview
Time to see the quality of VPS
Having sacked their unsuccesful manager Tomi Kärkkäinen who started the season VPS Vaasa has won amazing 5 games in a row and find themselves in a safe position in the midtable. Who said it is not worth changing the manager?
VPS coach Petri Vuorinen has lots of reasons to happy before the match;” We are playing well! There is no need to be humble or afraid of HJK. There are players that we need to take a closer look at like the U21 – players in the defense, but as a special danger I see Dawda Bah, their winger.”
VPS goal-keeper Henri Sillanpää 10/0 got slightly injured during last game and is doubtful in this game, but striker Antonio Inutile 10/1 who was sidelined because of fever has recovered and is available.
The atmosphere and feeling in the club is at is best and also the long-lost spectators are slowly returning to the idyllic Hietalahti Stadion; ”This is like the golden years at the nineties coming back to live again”, said the old-timers at the stadion.
There is only way to win this game says coach Vuorinen; ” we have to keep the defense tight and score when we have the chance. There are not going to be that many in this match.”
HJK won Inter Turku in the topclash at sunny Helsinki 2-0 with goals by Mäkelä and Parikka and looked like they had found their form again during the long break. Central-defender Jukka Sauso 11/0 was hit in the head by powerful shot and will be probably be out because of concussion. Paulus Roiha 3/0 is out for sure, and with Teemu Haapala 5/0 and Ville Taulo 4/0 the match fitness is under survaillance day by day. Sauso will be replaced by young and promising Juhani Ojala 1/0.
HJK did lose some easy points in the early season but by winning this they would share the lead with Haka and be back on track for the run for the title.
This game against VPS is the start for the hectic schdedule for the next four weeks, there will be two games weekly in the League, Cup and the Europe League and HJK can not afford any under-performing during this period.

RoPS - JJK preview
Relegation battle
RoPS has lost four games in a row and especially the last one against Honka was a very dramatic one after Honka snatching the win by scoring twice in the last minutes of the game. ”We have that game out of our system now, ” says head coach Lumijärvi, but admits that ”it still hurts.”
Lumijärvi is satisfied that the pieces are starting to fit together. ” Now we have enough power in the midfield, and our playmaker Mwaba gets the ball a lot earlier and we go on attacking much quicker. All we need to do now is to more efficient. JJK did win Lahti and scored twice against VPS. We have to take Tommi Kari into special care. I am quite confident that we can take all the points home.”
The only player missing of the Rovaniemi outfit is long-term patient Tenkula who has not yhet played. Zeddy Saileti is likely to return into the squad after resting the game against Honka.
JJK, the promoted team, suffered a 3-2 away loss at VPS Vaasa, but before that got their historic first win against Lahti. JJK head coach Ville Priha knows exactly how important this game is for both teams, ” We clearly need to get a result here, RoPS is one our main rivals this season. Unfortunately RoPS is extremely strong home team, as we have seen against HJK and Honka already.”
JJK needs to change their opening line-up due to suspensions, as Toni Koskela 10/0 and Matti Lähitie 9/0 will not be available.

TamU - Inter preview
Tampere, now?
Tamu: 0-3-0-0-3-0
Inter:3-3-0-0-3-0
H2H: 12-5-1. 07.02.2009 League Cup TamU – Inter 5-2
On Wednesday night Tampere United meets the reigning champions FC Inter Turku. Tampere has been a difficult place to visit for the Turku team, as they have never got full points at Tampere. Even last home win was already five years ago.
TamU needs urgently more points, so they are looking for a win with a risk;” Inter is a solid team who can play throughout the 90 minutes with full tempo. It makes this more challenging to us because we do not have too many players available due injuries,” says head coach of TamU Ari Hjelm.
”We need to take risks. If you can not play to win in the Veikkausliiga, you are in the wrong league”, he continues.
There are no new injury worries for TamU, but the list has been worryignly long for some time.
TamU is not only team who has not yet used all their potential. On Sunday against HJK Inter had their moments, but were not sharp enough in front of the goals. ”We need to use the wingers more and be more active all over the pitch, ” says Job Dragtsma, the Inter head coach from Holland.
Inter will be missing their goalkeeper Patrick Bantamoi 11/0 who got a red card against HJK, but on the other hand it is a great opportunity for canadian second goalkeeper David Monsalve who has not yet played a single game in the Veikkausliiga. ” We all trust him, this is the reason the teams have two goalkeepers. Red cards are a part of this game and now David can show what he can do”.
Besides Bantamoi the only other absent player is mf Mika Ojala 10/2.
