IFK Mariehamn 2016

Other clubs HJK

This was easy piece as MIFK is practically unchanged. On and off-form Forsell leaving leaves a big hole, but he never got all of his talent on the pitch and he is replaced by more useful Petrovic.

One young gk left and got replaced by double his age gk coach. Tammilehto leaving is not really a big deal either as MIFK have a plenty of midfielders.

One of the longest serving managers has already gone, but perhaps it was about time. Good job by Pekka Lyyski and have a happy retirement!

The preseason has gone only so and so, but can not understand how and why one local sports media predicted them to go down? Somewhere mid-table is a much safer guess. MIFK have lost a lot of points due injuries to top scorers, now they can start with two good ones Orgill and Kangaskolkka.

Not a lot to be expected from the season opener away at HJK  though... traditionally a tough fixture.

Veikkausliiga to kick off on April 2nd with TWO matches

HJK vs MIFK and PK-35 vs RoPS. There was also a 3rd match scheduled but as it is not yet warm enough the match at Turku is postponed to June. Inter is one of the few clubs who still play on natural grass here.

Early odds at Sportmarket PRO show two home favourites.

Even if the matches can be boring in these friendlies at least there are big enough limits for the most of us.

RoPS today. Really?

A few missings but still a bit unexpected formation... there is room for full backs to attack! Friendly vs Kemi. (FT 1-2 loss)

FIN cup odds for Honka - TPS

Kakkonen club Honka vs Ykkönen club TPS. Time after time I have heard people complaining that the limits are too low for any meaningful betting, but probably these punters have either a very healthy betting bank, or they do not know how to use Sportmarket.

9.9k at one click. In case it is not enough take another with slightly lower odds. At this point we have two hours until kick-off and only TPS lineup is known.

What we can expect is a low-scoring rather even match with hosts having a slight edge, mostly because of the heavy indoors home advantage. 0-0, 1-0?

If we are really lucky there is a free stream for this at TPS-TV.

Ukraine has been set as -0.5 favorite to this and the odds have drifted to 1.6 level. Fin is not desperately bad though.
