Sportsbetting and handicapping

I am interested in the money making process, but apart from it the intellectual process behind it interests me even more.

More about this later, at this point I seem to be making notes in the expense of writing them out.

A scouting handicapper vs fundamental vs relative-value ?

Feedback time for 2009

I have received some interesting emails regarding previews, reports, picks, analysis, timing, delivery and premium prices.

If you have anything to say about my activities so far this would be a perfect time.

I am not asking for thanks, rather looking for info of what you would like to have. Negative feedback would also be welcomed indeed, or lets say, a constructive feedback.

What I have done this season is a reflection and yet only a fraction of my every day life during the season and before the season. All info received has not been published as there was not enough time or motivation (reward) for it.

This could be changed. At this point I have time to strengthen the squad, organize, delegate and create and plan. If you so wish.

This blog will continue also in the future, but it is getting more and more likely that there will also be another site, a more professional approach into Football in Finland.

No comments will be published with your name, but they are read and analyzed, and any hopes or questions will be answered in the blog.

Please, say anything

Best regards,

Betting tips services

I am just publisihing the title for a note for myself for later. There is a lot to talk about them, but I am not going to name and shame anyone, no need to worry. Not promoting anyone either.

Spain - Finland U21

A bet!

It has been a while but somehow I remembered how to place a bet.

Spain -2 @ 1.92 was well enough as nothing speaks for Finland here.

The season has been over for a month.
11 best players on the pitch wear a red shirt.
Home advantage.
Motivation.

And the list could go on. Perhaps i will get the actual lineups when I get back from the shop, but the material gap is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

EDIT: FT 1-0. Everything else went according the plan, but there were no goals. Those two unawarded penalties for Spain might have helped. I will get back into this with more time, have to check the Georgian referee who is not probably having that brilliant career in front of him.
All in all, Spain was clearly better and was always going to win and leave Finland goalless, on individual level the difference in class in almost unbelievable, but well-organized defence, the heroics of defender Jukka Raitala and pure luck helped Finland to lose only by one goal it is looks far better on paper than in the real life.

Unfortunately there are no better players available and thus I can not even really blame coach Markku Kanerva even though I wanted to.

I would normally not publish any suicide news - but rest in peace Robert

In general it is the most selfish act for one to make and I do not accept it as a solution, but this Robert Enke case is so shocking and tragic that it must be remembered.

Despite all the success on the pitch deep down he has been an extremely sad man. Making up appearances must have torn him apart.

Rest in peace Robert, all the best for the family.

Break activities

The season that has already finished is still keeping me busy in the form of analysis.

I am checking my rankings, trends, stats, betting patterns and sources to find out whether there were mistakes done in the betting analysis regarding any named teams.

So far there are a few mistakes found that are not alarming but explain me a little what went wrong for instance regarding teams from Turku area.

As it is, there is no live coverage and not even recordings of the matches to be found anywhere in any language it looks like that by next pre-season and in the early season I have to travel even a bit more. There is very little information to be found for me on the teams that I already know well, but I have to concentrate on seeing the biggest rivals also at home to study their style of play in front of the home ground.

Naturally, there are agents are sources to be used, but then the analysis has to be calibrated to make sure we speak the same language.

All in all, the season went quite well, but there is still room for improvement.
