Kakkonen odds April 30th

I am personally at one match and my mate at another, so PRO customers will receive a live update if bets need to be taken. 13.00 CET. No pre-game ideas really.

Edit: No big live ideas either, at TiPS-Ilves-Kissat and MPS-KTP all teams had their moments and the results might had also been very different, but educating experience to get first hand information on the newly-promoted teams.

FT :MPS - KTP 0-2, TiPS - Ilves-Kissat 2-1, Jazz-TPV 4-1.

Odds April 29th

One or two more or less tasty matches today, depending on the late news. Of course big market moves possible as always - in fresh memory the slashed odds of Haka on Thursday. The main reason seemed to be big difference of opinion by one of the major local tipster services.

Kakkonen odds published this afternoon at SBO. Well done!

Season started!

There was a cup round with all favourites HJK, KuPS and MIFK reaching the semifinals, at ykkönen the promoted HIFK won Viikingit in the derby 3-2 (0-0) and Pallo-Iirot started with 3 points in Kakkonen B away vs. MuSa.

As the season has now properly started the updates here will mostly and first published through the Newsletter, but why not order the Free Edition for yourself? Next update tomorrow with fresh news and a look at the day´s matches.

Tampere United and Veikkausliiga 2011

The final news regarding the destiny of TamU are announced to be published 09.00 CET. What I am expecting is that they are out one way or another and a new fixture list should be published. The first league match of the season will be played May 2nd but so far all we know is that it will be MyPa at home.

Update 09.00 CET - Next update at 11.45

update 12.15 CET - TamU are gone for good!

All we need is match program.

Finnish Football Newsletter season 2011

I am still finetuning the service and the pricing. What I want is a service which is valuable and profitable for you and me, relatively easy to maintain and takes into account the market moves both caused by us and the rest of the markets. Challenging but impossible, there will be big market moves going both directions before the kick-off as the odds are vulnerable to tipping services and major players on the market.

What I can guarantee you is that it will be interesting, as there about 1000 matches to go in the leagues there will always be something to analyze and take a bet if you so decide, I will do my best to help.

Order the Free Edition from the right if you have not yet done it. There will be updates of everything and regular weekly previews and reviews and you will always be one step ahead of the rest. The services will be discussed more detail in there, and there will be discounted prices available if you decide to try the service out later and start anytime of the month.

Kakkonen 2011 changes

A lot has changed since last season, there are new clubs and some have just changed groups. In the table below relegated clubs in green and promoted from 3rd in orange. If the group has changed it is indicated with the group of 2010 with a capital letter. A quick glimpse might suggest that group A is even more even than last season, and that the B is the weakest in general as they have most of the promoted clubs and even got rid of Pallohonka and GrIFK. Life is not always fair. Only one of these clubs will win the promotion after play-offs, but 10 will be relegated. Biggest promotion candidates are SJK and Ilves.

Kakkonen will kick off April 28th  with one match at Kakkonen B,

League Cup final Honka - TamU

Edit: FT 3-0. The clearly better and more concentrated team Honka won rather easily. Honka odds rose nicely and were good value in live betting.

Last sight of TamU here - youtube?

This match is played under very bizarre conditions as TamU are possibly playing their very last competitive match ever. Next Wednesday is the day when TamU´s appeal of not being excluded from the Veikkausliiga will be discussed, but the hopes for any mercy are slim. It has been a complicated matter and has not helped TamU at all as players have been approach by other clubs and their mind has been elsewhere for a long time.

Under normal circumstances the hc would definitely not be as big as -1, TamU are unbeaten in the league cup and they have always been one of the most difficult opponents for Honka because of their humble and defence-minded approach to the game.

Tip-Ex seem to think there is a longer distance from Tampere to Espoo, last time I drove it myself it was only 170 km or so.

Finland Cup 7th round Lahti - TPS CET 16.00

Edit: FT 2-0. My eye witnesses talked about best Lahti performance this pre-season so far, and the timing was not perfect for that I must say.

Odds are out, have seen both teams live lately and have a pretty good idea of what should happen there this afternoon, preview and pick will be published in the Free Edition of the Newsletter. The last 7th round match will be played on Saturday, SJK - HJK.

19.4.2011

Quiet week, but HJK - Nomme Kalju friendly on Wed 12.00 CET

Edit: HJK TV at youtube highlights!

Edit: FT 6-1 (2-0). It was exactly as easy as the scoreline suggests, the opening hc -1.25 was delightfully wrong!

I like these early kick-off times, no crowds and it is easy to concentratre on the perfomances. I do not mind that these are easily also well available for betting! Nomme are frequent travellers to Finland and actually I have seen more matches of them this season than half of the league clubs. Estonian league is well under way,  and Nomme are establishing themselves as one of the top clubs of the country. HJK have a Finnish Cup fixture away on Saturday, but as they are out of the league cup and the league start is delayed this is a good opportunity to give valuable playing time for the whole squad, HJK are likely to make some 10 substitutions at HT or later. In the Uusi Lahti Cup 2011 Nomme won this fixture, but of course in that case it was actually Klubi-04 on the pitch. Waiting for the odds with big interest!

After the match HJK will hold a press conference where a new player contract will be announced, it is probably Jari Litmanen who is also playing tomorrow with HJK, though he has been training with Nomme as well as he lives permanently in Tallinn with his Estonian wife.

Last time they met I got this bet in, but tomorrow the things are changed, right?

The long winter is over - welcome official football season!

I spotted this fellow at the pond nearby. Winter must be over then!

Veikkausliiga update 2.0

Now it is confirmed and official about one hundreth time, AC Oulu are not in the league 2011 but inYkkönen instead. All we need to know is what is going to happen with Tampere United.

Ykkönen will start 28.04.11 with one match HIFK - Viikingit, also Kakkonen B will kick-off then.

17.4.2011

Two cup matches today in the Finnish Cup

Edit: GBK-Haka 0-2, MyPa - Jaro 3-1. Cup continues on Thursday.8th round  (1/8-finals) draw April 19th, it will be be played during the next week

No odds yet in Asia, but judging by the european bookies offers there would probably be value in at least one of the matches. More about these in the Free Edition of the Newsletter. Not really much more to say about these two today.

Kakkonen club GBK host league club Haka, and lately in these 2nd div - league club encounters the name of the game has been pretty clear. LPS-MIFK 0-8, Gnistan - KuPS 2-6, LoPa - Haka 0-4, PK35 res - JJK 0-8, EIF - KuPS 0-2, ViPa - Jaro 1-4.. the one exception being Riverball - AC Oulu 2-2. Which category does this one fall into, and more importantly, will it even be available for betting?

Very rough asian hc limits in the table below.

Cup Apr 17th GBK Haka
1,5 1,7 2,42
1,25 1,95 2,05
1 2,29 1,77
-0,5 8,33 1,47

League clubs MyPa and Jaro will have a fierce encounter later in the evening in Kouvola. It should be tight and no huge value is to be expected unless there are important late team news. MyPa hc likely at -0,25 & -0,50.

The 7th round of the cup will continue and be finished by April 23rd, the 8th round has been transferred to be played earlier because of the delay of the Veikkausliiga start.

Yesterday JIPPO won TamU at ET 2-1 after been one goal for most of the match but were helped by the late TamU own goal(!), KuPS were their efficient self and destroyed Gnistan early on the first half. FT 2-6 is a good sign anyway for Gnistan, good to see them being able to challenge KuPS in the attack and the first goal was very well shot from a distance.

14.4.2011

Veikkausliiga update

Update 16.4.11 09.00 CET, temporarily not much of the text below is  valid the moment, and TamU will play today in the Cup vs JIPPO, or will they? Also the league cup final is again in the agenda until stated otherwise.
************

There is so much legal mumbo jumbo going on that not much of this information is guaranteed to stand, so I better put a time stamp here. On April 15th at 09.00 CET the situation is like this:
  • TamU have been kicked out of all FA competitions because of getting too closely connected with Singaporean match fixers
  • The league cup final April 23rd between Honka  and TamU will not be played at all
  • The league start will be delayed as the number of clubs in it has changed, or has it?
  • AC Oulu is playing this season at Ykkönen, kick-off April 28th, unless it is changed

Of course both TamU and AC Oulu are taking legal actions against these decisions and while we wait what is finally going to happen a guess of the league systems below.

  • There will be 12 clubs in the League instead of planned 14
  • They might play 3 x 11 rounds, or not
  • The last one might get relegated directly, or not
  • There are 13 clubs at Ykkönen instead of 12 planned
  • 5 clubs will get relegated
  • The winner will play a promotion play-off, or win direct promotion to League 2012, or perhaps they are given a free cruise to Sweden and a couple of balls?
Fuck knows. The ones to blame of all this shit are the management at AC Oulu, Tampere United and the Finnish Football Association. Grow up and grow some cojoñes.

Tampere United gone

Let us see what happens next, but the latest news confirm that there is no Tampere Utd no more.

The schedule is wide open, there will possibly be a new system and the league start will be delayed.

Stay tuned. Longer and more official version below.

Kurinpitovaliokunnan päätös koskien Tampere Unitedia

Suomen Palloliiton (SPL)kurinpitovaliokunta käsitteli torstain kokouksessaan Tampere Unitedin tilannetta ja päätti yksimielisesti sulkea Tampere Unitedin 2011 Liigacupista sekä kaikista Suomen Palloliiton virallisista kilpailuista kaudella 2011 mukaan lukien Suomen Cupin ja Veikkausliigan rangaistusmääräysten 3.1 §:n i-kohdan mukaan.

Perustelut:

(18bis 1-kohta: No club shall enter into a contract which enables any other party to that contract or any third party to acquire the ability to influence in employment and transfer-related matters its independence, its policies or the performance of its teams.)

Kurinpitovaliokunta katsoo Tampere Unitedin (Tamu) rikkoneen rangaistusmääräysten 2 §:n a- ja g-kohtia seuraavin perustein.

Tamu on loppukesän ja syksyn 2010 neuvotellut markkinointisopimuksesta singaporelaisen yrityksen Exclusive Sports PTE Ltd:n (ESP) kanssa. Neuvotteluiden johdosta on laadittu allekirjoittamaton sopimus, jonka perusteella Tamulle on suoritettu yhteensä 299.961 euroa 50 päivän kuluessa aikavälillä 19.11.2010 – 7.1.2011. Kyseinen summa on Tamun vuosibudjetista noin 30 %.

- ESP:n suorittamaa korvausta Tamulle toimittamiensa pelaajien kustannuksista (ml. pelaajien palkat),

Tamu on osoittanut omalta osaltaan noudattaneensa sopimuksen ehtoja peluuttamalla kahta ESP:n toimittamaa pelaajaa Liigacupin otteluissa helmikuussa 2011.

Saatuaan viimeisen maksusuorituksen ESP:ltä 7.1.2011 on Tamu vasta kolme viikkoa myöhemmin 28.1.2011 toimittanut sopimusversion Palloliiton toimitusjohtajalle olematta aiemmin missään yhteydessä Palloliittoon asiassa.

Valitusosoitus:

Rangaistusmääräysten 8 §:n mukaisesti Tamulla on oikeus hakea muutosta tähän päätökseen valittamalla kirjallisesti Suomen Palloliiton valitusvaliokunnalle viikon kuluessa päätöksen tiedoksisaannista.

Tamun on toimitettava valitus SPL:n valitusvaliokunnalle 21.4.2011 kello 16.00 mennessä.

Finnish Cup April 13th

Edit: MyPa - AC Oulu 2-0 (1-0), Lahti - Espoo 2-1 (2-1). Another strange "correction move" for MyPa odds as they rose back to -1 @ 2.1 before kick-off, and the fact that Oulu had the most unexperienced line-up  should had moved the odds exactly into opposite direction. The fact that according to the match reports Oulu kids did well in the end is another matter.

Lahti and Espoo offered as much confusing match as expected with little or no value to be found even in live betting. Both Lahti goals were scored by the central defenders though, I was expecting them to come from the midfield but definitely not from the strikers.

Next round MyPa will meet Jaro and Lahti entertain TPS. Not at all clear cut matches.

Two matches, both live at Asian books.
