Yesterday offered only one Kakkonen match Kiffen vs BK-46 and it was not that crowded as most people were watching Finland beating Canada in ice hockey. Less than 100 people witnessed the match at legendary Töölön Pallokenttä, "Bollis".

Watching TV was probably a wiser choice as this match was very poor in terms of goal chances and overall quality. BK-46 punished from one of their very chances, but as Kiffen's chances were not any better the result can be categorized as "acceptable". Always an under-game, and in fairness a 0-0 would had described it best.

There was a big change in Kiffen lineup before the game as home gk  - and perhaps Kakkonen's best gk - Timo Aaltonen was sidelined and replaced by Pentti Pussinen. This was probably also the reason for the market move towards BK-46. Pussinen was not to blame the outcome though, neither of the keepers had to make any saves.

Match pictures available here.

In the women's league Ilves beat TiPS 3-0. The hc changed from a low - 2.75 to -3 @ 1.6 or so, and this time around the markets were wrong as TiPS gave a good fight.

Today a quiet day. One U20 Ykkönen match Honka vs TiPS and some Kolmonen matches only, and my personal take of FIN football today is to go PK-35 trainings to see if the rumours of possible coach leaving/sacking are true or not.
