Kakkonen Pohjoinen 3.8

Asian season seems to be over for Saturdays..

ORPa - TP-47 24 20 56
o/u 2.5: 66 34

PS Kemi's attitude problems and another world class performance from ORP goalkeeper Rönkkö ensured that ORP got a miraculous draw last week. Admittedly the highlights show that ORP did have some proper chances this time, but the fact that they've scored a whopping three goals in their last eight games tells a lot, and even those three were either referee gifts or goalkeeper blunders. By winning the right games ORP probably deserves to be rated slightly higher than the other Oulu team Tervarit, but they're still easily the second-worst squad in this year's Kakkonen. TP-47 continued their middling performances last week against Kerho 07 in a game that by all accounts could have gone the either way. TP-47 offloaded another player last week and given that the stench of mediocrity and uninterest has been all over their match reports for the past month and a half, the 1,55 level odds don't raise my interest at all. ORP missed important Karjalainen last week, TP-47 will surely miss the two loaned out players. Huusko and Badji, two regulars, should return from their suspensions, and army duty might take some of the youngsters away. Under looks definitely more interesting than over today, ORP goalscoring struggles are well-documented now and their defense mostly due to Rönkkö should be more than adequate against TP-47 who hasn't exactly lit up the nets lately apart from a couple of expections, such as last week. I won't even pretend to know anything about TP-47 and totals outside their results and shady match reports, so while it won't help today, hopefully this first chance to see them live will make it easier to predict TP-47 in the future.
