Kakkonen Pohjoinen 7.8

No odds for YPA and TP-47 games, GBK would have been a 9/10 selection at least but no can do when nothing's offered.

KPV - Kerho 07 O3.0 63% 1,94 7/10 Sbobet (would be only 5/10 now that Caumo is with SJK)
Tervarit - PS Kemi O3.5 60,5% 1,82 5,5/10 Sbobet
VIFK - PK-37 -1,25 1 57,5% 1,86 2,5/10 Sbobet

VIFK - PK-37 72 15 13
o/u 2.5: 72 28

VIFK did miss two regulars from their defense in GBK match who are now questionable, PK-37 will be playing without important Niskanen who is on international duty and a bunch of other dudes who don't want to travel a total of 700km on a workday. VIFK was beaten again, this time deservedly, and because the promotion is dream is practically over I'll be a little cautious with even though the team news clearly favour the hosts. The odds have already started to drop for VIFK and while I'm very much anti-PK-37 anything above -1,25 would be just too much, and even that 72 % is really stretching it. Normally both teams are very under-like but since the goal average for the past half a dozen games is nearing 5.0 for both I don't think the under would be that good of a good choice. That big list of PK-37 missings muddles things somewhat, but anything under 3.25 would be okay considering the form.

KPV - Kerho 07 42 20 38
o/u 2.5: 71 29

Not going to touch this match until the line-ups arrive. KPV's results haven't looked pretty lately, but a lot of that is due to their heavyweight opponents. Kerho 07 pulled an excellent performance out of nothing against YPA so that naturally makes predicting a very difficult task. At their best they could easily challenge the top teams in the group like we saw in the first few games of the season, but if the YPA win was just an one-time anomaly KPV is more than capable of beating Kerho 07 as they've showed acceptable performances against TP-47, YPA and GBK. Kerho 07 did get their captain back last time and Caumo played too, but it's not like their squad was particularly stronger than usual so the player situation doesn't exactly explain the win. KPV missed important Watson last time and their first-choice gk was sent off in Kemi game, so not the most optimal situation there. Both are quite average when it comes to goals so I wouldn't bother with 3.25, a quarter goal less would be ok if the line-ups are favorable.

Tervarit - PS Kemi 5 9 86
o/u 2.5: 79 21

Tervarit seems to have had one of their off days in Iisalmi last week, but even if they manage to pick up themselves, anything other than a loss would obviously be a massive surprise considering the odds for the away win are barely over 1,10. PS Kemi successfully bounced back from ORP defeat/draw by thrashing KPV, though the result did probably favor PS Kemi slightly if the away team's report is to be believed. PS Kemi's hugely important Pasher could be suspended (you never know with the local FA) but then again YPA was not slowed down that badly against Tervarit even though they were depleted too. Even a -2,25 line is something that I wouldn't likely be able to resist but I'd prefer to leave something for the live and thus to see how the game starts (and maybe get a better line too). The same sentiments go for the total too, 3.75 would be acceptable for the over but a lower line would be much preferred. Tervarit scoring would surprise considering how good PS Kemi has been defensively, but the visitors do have plenty of offensive power even without Pasher that scoring more than three would not be too much to ask given the quality of their opponents today.

TP-47 - GBK 34 20 46
o/u 2.5: 73 27

Even with the reduced expectations TP-47 did not display anything worthwhile against ORP, while on the other hand GBK continued their scorching form by destroying VIFK in the first half and then cruising to an easy win in the second. Now it's true that I'm probably overreacting to recent form as TP-47 is still a team to be reckoned with, as in somewhere around the middle in terms of ranking and class, but since GBK's squad was/is top-3 caliber and they're playing much better right now I'd be more than happy with any + handicap for the visitors. GBK's defender and coach Corcoran will miss the game along with Melarti, TP-47 with their best line-up. TP-47's last match did not do much to help with totals as their style was rather direct to put it kindly, but they didn't look too under-like to make me skip 3.25 in the case it's available. GBK has had two one goal matches recently but I'd say both were quite different types of games than this (says the guy who had over in both matches). Other than those two games GBK has been very over-like for a long time now so I'll take my chances with anything under 3.5.

FC YPA - ORPa 88 8 4
o/u 2.5: 76 24

The secrets of the uni.. Kakkonen were on full display last Sunday, when everything was set up favorably for YPA yet they were completely outplayed by Kerho 07 who themselves have been playing poorly for the past two months. If the loss wasn't bad enough for YPA, they picked two suspensions, Maluka and Colovic, who are both their key players. ORP still misses their best goalscorer Karjalainen. For ORP the last match was much of the same for them as it has been for the past month, meaning no goalscoring and magnificent goalkeeping. Although they did get a couple of chances that could have resulted in goals the team for the most part is not Kakkonen quality so it's not that surprising to see them fail to find the net. Odds are quite similar to today's PS Kemi game so there's not much sense in discussing which team is going to win so all eyes are on the handicap. In addition to Maluka, YPA will miss Savic who while not being among the most important players is still a regular starter who has scored a handful goals, so the with an already thin squad they won't have any help coming from the bench. Though ORP bets have been about even lately, their defending has been much better than I thought and I can't argue against their recent results so anything over -2 for YPA is not really that appealing. YPA is still very over-like while ORP is the opposite of that so no strong ideas for the total. Over line will understandably be quite inflated due to the giant class difference so when the visitors have a goalkeeper like Rönkkö anything over 3.5 sounds too much.
