Finland U19 - Scouting Special!

Update; the 2-1 loss to Hungary ended hopes of qualification.

Finland against Hungary:
Joonas Pöntinen, KuPS
Mikko Sumusalo, HJK
Tapio Heikkilä, FC Honka
Thomas Götzl, FC Hansa Rostock
Tero Mäntylä, Portsmouth FC
Joni Kauko, FC Inter
Petteri Pennanen, FC Twente
Rasmus Schüller, FC Honka
Jaakko Lepola, FC Honka

Update as the qualification has started. Finland drew with Serbia away 1-1 in the opener and the line-up was also far better than in the friendlies mentioned below, starring Teemu Pukki and Lauri Dalla Valle. A friendly is always a friendly, nothing else.

----------------------- earlier shite------------

Some of the youth teams of Finland are not absolute bullshit. I wish I could say the same about our current U19 - team, but if we think that results speak for themselves there is not too much to add.

Germany - Finland 7-0
France - Finland 7-0

I honestly think there is some talent in the team, but as a team there is not much to expect at the moment.

Finland line - up against France;

Tomas Karike, HJK
Mikko Sumusalo, HJK
Thomas Götzl, FC Hansa Rostock
Tapio Heikkilä, FC Honka
Tero Mäntylä, Portsmouth FC
Riku Heini, FC Lahti
Jaakko Lepola, FC Honka
Rasmus Schüller, FC Honka
Daniel Fellman, FF Jaro
Petteri Pennanen, FC Twente
Johannes Westö, HJK

Good luck to Europe, boys!
