In the opening round the team from Åland upset slightly the Finnish football world by winning the reigning Champions Inter Turku easily 2-0. It had after all escaped relegation another time again, and was not considered to be a top team, especially because they had changed almost the entire team for this season. The new recruits have been succesful, and MIFK is the surprise package of the season, having so far lost only once – at the most difficult stadium of all – at HJK.

MIFK defense is the best of the League, but there are problems in the attacking front, and injuries of the strikers do not help. Important Sasha Anttilainen 7/1 will miss this game and is predicted to out for 4 weeks.

Inter has been struggling lately. Both of their goalkeepers are now back from suspension and now it is time for a new start. Mika Ojala has recovered from injury, and in the cup game against RoPS this Wednesday they had according to coach Job Dragtsma 18 good goal chances, but only succeeded scoring twice.

”We are going to revenge the loss at Mariehamn”, says Inter striker Ats Purje, ” at Mariehamn we let IFK to control the game, but at home we are going to return to our style of short passes and be more efficient in front of the goal.”

Inter has no injury worries for the first time season.

Predict: There is a minimum of value at Inter - 0.5 @ 2.04 Sbobet, but I will see if there are any changes in the odds. Under looks likely, and wortless as the line has been set up at 2 goals.
