A tough week for both teams

RoPS being extremely strong home team Jaro decided to make the trip far north already on Saturday and are concentrating on the game. This is the third game of the week for both teams and it takes a lot of the players. It does not bother RoPS – striker Nchimunya Mweetwa who is full of confidence before the game:” I have recoverd from knee injury and played already in four games. At home we are looking for a win against anyone, and it we will make it hard for Jaro.”

RoPS have no major injury worries and first choice goal-keeper Kwon returns from suspension, the game is still played away from the usual RoPS home ground, at Susivouti, which gives even more home advantage as the pitch is in awful condition.

Both teams are hungry for a win after a dry spell. Taking into account Jaro´s cup game away at TamU which they lost 2-0, Jaro have not scored in 4 of their last games. ”The good thing is, that at least our defense is working well, but of course we need to be sharper in front of the goal if we want to win games”, admits Jaro coach Mika Laurikainen. We did not really have too many goal chances against IFK Mariehamn and TamU, and we have emphasized game speed in our trainings,” he continues.

Heikki Aho 7/1, Jani Tanska 13/1 and Daniel Fellman 8/0 are doubftul for Jaro.
