Weeken review and week preview

Busy weekend behind! There were loads of friendlies and the asian bookies had opened most of them on Saturday, including some silly matches I did not even know were going to be played!

It is good news that the matches raise interest at the bookies, but the bad news is that most of the matches this weekend were played within a 90 minute time slot, and most full-time bets got void as the actual playing time was approx. 83-86 minutes in most cases and it takes a lot of hassling with the bookies to settle the bets correctly. The first half bets stand in most cases, but unfortunately they are unthankful to suggest in live betting as the time frame is very limited. Also the rest of the matches opened only some 1-2 hours before kick-off and if the prices were awfully wrong – as they were – they crashed also very quickly.

In the league cup Honka took a deserved win over MIFK who are a bit toothless in the attack. The new line-up and idea of Honka was to play winger Demba Savage in the center but it did and will not work out. The new striker Dudu from KuPS scored twice and looks dangerous in the box  with or without a ball. A quality lad and likely top scorer in the league.

This week there will be two league cup matches in the southern group, TPS host HJK on Tuesday 16.00 CET and Honka on Friday 14.00 CET outdoors. I try to get enough info for a preview by tomorrow morning, but you all know already that TPS have lost a lot of quality players since last season and got nothing in return.  The latest transfer Roope Riski to Cesena is not yet included/confirmed.

The northern group kicks off as well with Jaro – Oulu and JJK-VPS (will be played at VPS home ground!)

Transfers:

Next weekend will be extremely busy with friendlies, league cup and Uusi Lahti Cup where I will be  following 10 matches live. Actually I have a problem in deciding what to do with that regarding to the free service. It is one the most profitable competitions there are because of the heavy schedule and big rotations in the line-ups, but is also very demanding and involves a lot of work and analysis.

The question is if I should talk about it at all and concentrate fully on my own work, or should I put a fee on it and provide live picks for all matches? The timetable for the tournament is from Friday 13.00 to Friday 21.00 CET, Saturday 08.15 – 16.00 and Sunday 12.00 – 16.00

Schedule in local time: Last year the winner was Tampere United over Lahti and HJK.

Any ideas welcome, or if you are strongly interested please let me know. Currently I am leaning on the option of keeping the eyes on the ball and making sure I collect a good profit for myself!

Anyway, there will be updates on Tuesday and Friday at least and regarding the near future February will continue as a  free month for all. There will be good betting opportunities but definitely not a full schedule and I am also planning to have a vacation somewhere where there is no snow but cold beer, bright sun & clear waters.

Enjoy your day - if it now is a possible option on a cold Monday morning.

A few results from the weekend with league and ykkönen clubs, Kakkonen clubs were also heavily involved but the most interesting notion is that Kiffen continued their 0-0 style.
