Newsletter delivery delays

Got this from the service provider, but if the problems do not get solved let us forget the Newsletter and I will go back to old-fashioned email. Please keep me updated if there are problems!

"Ah sorry to hear about issues with delay of delivery!  It's worth noting that sometimes mail servers may delay the delivery of bulk email to inboxes for up to 24 hours.  So if you're seeing these delays isolated to particular email domains, this could be the cause of the issue.

Ultimately this is a mechanism in place on the receiving servers, so it's not something we're easily able to control on our end.  However, we do have many different IP sending addresses that we cycle through to try and avoid the bulk emailing issues described above.  These particular delays you're experiencing may very well be temporary in that at the time of send there was a high volume of requests being received by that receiving email server, so we'd recommend keeping an eye on it in the case that it should clear up on its own.
