Veikkausliiga round 7 review

Will  de updated during the day when I finish watching the remaining matches. Highlights here, all matches on the same page under Veikkausliiga ;

MIFK - HJK 1-2

Honka - VPS 0-0
A ridiculous result. Honka had the possession, the shots, the chances, the corners, but no goals.

Lahti -  JJK 0-0
Red card for JJK key man center-back Juha Pasoja changed the game completely, but after that very similar to the Honka-match above. One disallowed goal for Lahti, twicw hitting the cross-bar and several good saves by JJK gk Szerovay. One good chance for JJK too when they hit the posts twice with the same shot.

Jaro - TamU 2-2

Inter - AC Oulu 0-2
Inter´s problems were here discussed, and they were to be seen for all. Deserved away win.

Haka - MyPa 0-1
Hardly a classic, but Haka ran of luck for a while.

KuPS - TPS 2-1

  1. Got Pasoja a yellow-red card or a red card?

  2. 2 yellows. It would mean one match suspension but my books show him now 4 cards total which means another ban to clear that.

  3. After three yellow cards get a player an one match suspension, right? And after that? What is the rule of yellow cards? 3/5/7/9/11 like in International cups or 3/6/9/12/15?

  4. 4 yellows - 1 suspension then after
    3 yellows - 1
    2
    2

Pasoja got his fourth of the season and a red which is an automatic suspension. A direct red would be two.

  5. Naturally the league office have not yet no idea about any suspension. It has not been updated by Thursday that he is suspended at all.

  6. So, the rule is 4/7/9/11 and so on, right?

  7. ANother question: What means the "Rp." in the score sheet (http://ykkonen.palloliitto.hs.prewise.com/HistoryGameStats.aspx?y=2007&gameid=13826)?ANd is "Ulosajo" the finnish word for red card?
