Kakkonen Pohjoinen 7.6

Leaving PS Kemi out as their starting line-up is not looking good (many injured or suspended).

PS Kemi - AC Kajaani 50 21 29
o/u 2.5: 66 34

Although we are likely talking about the best two teams in the league, neither has really been that impressive lately as both have struggled quite a lot. Kemi's problems started during the late parts of JBK game after which they have had two uninspired games against OPS and KPV. AC Kajaani has now gone winless for three games and if the reports are at least somewhat accurate they wouldn't have deserved any wins either. PS Kemi misses one very important defensive player Erceg. Räihä, who has started every game at centerback is also out. AC Kajaani does have player trouble too, as regular starter Ceesay is out. Despite the fact that this will likely be their toughest opponent this season, PS Kemi and their home form has been one of the few reliable things in Kakkonen so I'm slightly interested in odds above 2,00 for the homewin. However, for me the main bet will be on the over. Yes, the pitch is expected to be in horrible shape, and both are statistically excellent defensive teams. On the other hand, both will now face offenses of wholly different quality, and it's not like especially Kemi's defense is that invincible neither on paper or in their latest games. Since the season so far been very low scoring it's not a really confident selection (and also a reminder that between 2005 and 2013 my total guesses have been more or less +-0 units), but I do like my chances with a low line, not the least because PS Kemi has had at least three goals in 15 of their last 18 home games.

JBK - TP-47 31 21 48
o/u 2.5: 63 37

The sometimes crazy nature of Kakkonen was perfectly evident last Tuesday when JBK actually looked better than PS Kemi the week before even though they both faced the same team. I suspect some of the Jaro loans helped them quite a bit or they just had their best game of their season as it was hard to believe that they were and are still without a win. TP-47 finally lost last week and it was a fully deserved loss. Classwise this is a relegation battler versus a middle table team, so TP-47 is naturally a small favorite. I don't have the courage to go against JBK as they looked so good against OPS, so I'll take a pass and see how they do today without Kronholm, Sara, Elm and other Jaro guys. TP-47's important Mapoka is for some reason on the bench. JBK looked like they will be involved in high scoring games so their record is not that misleading, however, same cannot be said about TP-47 so total line at 3.0 is not interesting either way.
