Veikkausliiga 2010 finished

No huge surprises in the end and the only clubs who could sustain any long runs are the top-3, but until July TPS was very bad to honest and they found their play just in time.

KuPS and Jaro were positive, not only by their results but they brought a bit of fresh air. Honka were inconsistent and the injury & sales of Hermanni Vuorinen were a big blow, though personally I believe that the biggest reason for their failure this season was that they could not replace Joel Perovuo in the midfield.

Inter and TamU were far from they dreamed of - injuries are always a good explanation and excuse for that.

The rest quite deservedly had fight the relegation and in the the unluckiest of the lot was FC Lahti. MyPa were just grey mass, Haka were in big crisis and their survival is almost a miracle and I can announce them as the luckiest team of the season. JJK improved a lot since last season but they have to meet Viikingit in the relegation/promotion play-offs next week.

Congrats to HJK & KuPS, my condolences to Lahti. You did not deserve the drop but looking at the results after 45 minutes you can see the reason why you did. (18 points!)
