Ykkönen 2010 final round

Stakes are rising at Ykkönen – the last round today and still the promoted team, the play-off team and one of the relegated teams are undecided!

Espoo – TPV. Hosts odds have dropped to approx. -0,25 @ 2. 00 since yesterday. It has been a long time since TPV won a match, but there has been no shortage of motivation as they have been in danger throughout the season. No real motivation for Espoo and the match will be played on artificial training ground nearby their stadion, but I believe they want to finish their success debut season in style and give TPV no favours. Got a lot better price for this yesterday.

JIPPO – OPS. No motivation, no reason to get excited, definitely no bets. Unless of course the line-ups show that one of the teams plays with kids or reserves only.

KPV – PK35. No motivation, but this is still under consideration. KPV are in huge form. -0.75 @ 2.00 available. 

PoPa – Klubi 04. Ridiculously short odds for PoPa at -2 @ 1.77, in my understanding they also got a few important injuries for the attacking dept. last week. Goal difference is not going to decide anything for PoPa. Early goals for Viikingit might kill the motivation of PoPa? Carefully thinking about the visitors here – but they are in poor form and have not even scored for ages. PoPa miss at least Toni Junnila, Samu Ruisniemi, Aleksandr Kokko and Samu-Petteri Mäkelä, perhaps also Juha Luoma. 

Took Klubi04 here, risky of course but big value.

PS Kemi 0 @ 2.31 – Hämeenlinna 0 @ 1.68. Visitors need a draw here, and at least the asian market seems to believe they are gonna get it. The local bookie disagrees (2.45-2.90-2.60) and sees the home team as a favourite, and indeed, they are the better team – just without any motivation. Tricky? The venue is still undecided as it can be frosty at Kemi and change to indoor arena is possible or even likely and it would favour the hosts.

RoPS – KooTeePee -1.5 @ 1.96. A draw would secure RoPS title and promotion and I am expecting a cautious approach by the hosts, and their latest half of the match away at Hämeenlinna was a poor one. RoPS are the best team in the league, they have home advantage, motivation... and all the pressure as they can still slip up. 

 

Viikingit – MP. Can the odds get any shorter than this? -2 @ 1.73! Not that I really doubt Viikingit winning, but really?
