Took a stroll last night to nearby Pallokenttä 6 to see some live football. Second division Ekenäs IF was visiting 4th division Gnistan/2 in the 3rd round cup match. If you are used to FA Cup or French Cup you might think there is a chance for the home team, but the quality diffence in terms of goals in the lower leagues is about 3 goals, and the FT result 0-6 reflects that perfectly.
EIF´s last season´s best goal scorer - 21 goals in 25 matches - Victor Solomon is on fire, and having scored now a hat trick both on Saturday vs. Klubi04 and on Sunday vs. Gnistan/2 he seems to be ready for succesful season. In the next round EIF face another 2nd div club City Stars away at Lahti and that will be more a much more serious encounter.
