Needed to see how they are going to manage now when another one of their potential centerbacks Toni Huuhka got injured. The only proper centerback is Tennant McVea and it is time to check what his true abilities are as he is a new player in the club and in the league.
In today´s friendly the visitors are Ykkönen side FC Hämeenlinna, and it is about time to see them in action too this pre-season as the season start next Sunday with Klubi04 - TPV.
The rest of the week is starting to look busy, there is Cup on Wednesday and Thursday, League matches Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Edit: A lot of good news for Lahti supporters. Jari Litmanen is´definitely with them this season as well, the way he shows the new recruit Omar how he should take part in the building of the game leaves no room to questions. Jari is in, Omar as a left back is doing well and Tennant McVea looks like a quality lad with leadership abilities. 1-0 at HT, should be much more. FT 3-0.
Lahti still do have kind of shortage of defending players, but it does not look at all that gloomy as it did a couple of months ago.
Lahti will host Jaro on Saturday in the first round of Veikkausliiga 2010.
